Notes

Note 1: 2018.03.19 — CSX cut in a new (long!) connection track to allow southbound trains on the A-line to turn onto the Wilmington sub RR north/compass southeast (don't ask me!) to the Port of Wilmington. This is to accommodate a new intermodal facility being constructed in Johnston County, N.C.

Note 2: 2018.03.19 — CSX cut in a new siding between South Dillon A264.5 and Black Swamp A267.3 (formerly North Latta A266.9 intermediate signal)

Note 3: 2018.04.16 — South Carolina Ports Authority officially opened its Dillon Inland Port which is served by a new intermodal ramp just south of Dillon proper.

Note 4: 2020.09.17 — CSX is re-laying track 1 across the Cape Fear River just north of Fayetteville, N.C. to eliminate the choke point of the existing single-track trestle.

Note 5: 2021.11.07 — Nutrien built a new plant just south of NC581 between Lucama and Kenly. It is served by a 10-car industrial spur with loadout tipple. The plants in Wilson have been closed.
