Note 1: The Charlotte Harbor sub was once an Atlantic Coast Line main paralleling U.S. 17 all the way down to Charlotte Harbor, Florida via Bartow, Fort Meade (home of Andrew McCutchen), Bowling Green, Wauchula, Zolfo Springs, and Arcadia.
In the modern era Arcadia is where the (ex-Seaboard) Brewster sub comes down from Edison Junction on the Valrico sub and through the Bone Valley to connect to the southern remnant of the Charlotte Harbor line to continue south to Punta Gorda and Fort Myers; the former ACL south of Arcadia is now operated by SGLR (Seminole Gulf Railway).
